Dissemination of Consumer Information

A representative of the school will be available to disseminate consumer information upon request between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. President and Administrator, Thomas R. Loken DDS practices general dentistry during these hours the Dental Assistants and NOHCC Instructors are also employed in the practice and are available during office hours.

Facilities and Equipment

NOHCC is located in the general dental office of Dr. Thomas R. Loken. Available facilities include a computerized business office, a reception area which doubles as a classroom, eight fully equipped treatment rooms, one labora- tory, a sterilization area, a private Dr.’s office, and two on-site restrooms. The equipment located in the office used for training includes a digital x-ray scanner for radiographs, a panoramic x-ray machine; a cephalometric x-ray machine, three autoclave sterilizers, an ultrasonic cleaner, a cold sterilizer bath, three amalgam mixers, and eight curing lights. There are several varieties of plaster and stone for pouring models and dies. A variety of impression materials and cements are also available. The laboratory area includes a vacuum former, a lab vibrator, a model trimmer, and various dental hand tools. There is an up-to-date OSHA program already in place with accompanying MSDS sheets and other regulatory necessities. We feel a practicing dental office is the perfect place for students to maximize their time and experience.
