Course Outline

Northeast Oklahoma Health Career Center’s DAP has designed this program for the individual who wants to gain the basic knowledge and skills necessary to enter the professional field of dental assisting. This program will allow people access to the job market quickly without incurring a burdensome debt and loss of time at their current job or profession. Morning sessions (8:00 to 12:00) are lecture, and afternoon sessions (1:00 to 5:00) are for clinical, hands-on laboratory experience. Instructors are available by appointment from 5-5:30pm for tutoring.

Eighty-two clock hours (82) are required for the successful completion of this course. The following is a description of each session and the number of clock hours for each module:
